Julie Vargo

Julie studied art and theatre at the University of Wisconsin,where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree.

Julie creates art that exemplifies her intuitive impressions of people, her deep love of equine beauty as well as the pure devotion of man’s best friend.  "I have always been interested in faces.  From a very early age, I would draw people, dogs, cats.  I was lucky enough to have an incredible mentor in high school.  That art teacher encouraged me and sent me on my way to study art in college. My job in painting a portrait, is not only to get the likeness, but to capture the spirit.  There is where the magic lies."
